The good news for Facebook users is that Facebook videos will now be monetized in Pakistan as well, and users will be able to make money from Facebook videos.

 According to the details, the Ministry of Information Technology IT has said that Facebook will first launch a pilot project for monetization of videos and after the results of the pilot project get better, video monetization policy will be announced.

 He said that the first pilot project will be launched to compete with YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok. The competition with market players is fierce.

 The Ministry of IT added that there could be an immediate risk of video monetization as users are less inclined to upload videos on Facebook and Facebook management has reservations about the regulatory framework in Pakistan.
